# FaceGenius vs BiaVis

The clearest difference is update cadence: BiaVis at every 3 days against FaceGenius's every 2 months. BiaVis also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). FaceGenius's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BiaVis holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceGenius has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FaceGenius ships an update every 2 months, BiaVis every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
