# Boomerang Video Maker vs Loop Video

The clearest difference is rating: Boomerang Video Maker at 4.7 against Loop Video's 4.0. Boomerang Video Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months). Loop Video's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 15) and review sentiment (50% vs 23%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Boomerang Video Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boomerang Video Maker has 6.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Boomerang Video Maker's written reviews are positive against 50% of Loop Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
