# OVID vs Full Moon Features

The clearest difference is rating: OVID at 4.8 against Full Moon Features's 4.6. Full Moon Features's advantage is ratings volume (226 vs 41). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OVID sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Full Moon Features sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OVID holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Full Moon Features has 226 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 95% and 94% positive.

OVID ships an update every 3 months, Full Moon Features every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
