# Raffle Name vs Lucky Random Number Generator

The clearest difference is monetization model: Lucky Random Number Generator at free with in-app purchases against Raffle Name's subscription. Lucky Random Number Generator also leads on device support (7 vs 3). Raffle Name's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raffle Name sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Lucky Random Number Generator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Raffle Name holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raffle Name has 5.6K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Raffle Name's written reviews are positive against 62% of Lucky Random Number Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Raffle Name ships an update every 3 weeks, Lucky Random Number Generator every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
