# AHOC Pets vs Spectrum HOA

The clearest difference is rating: AHOC Pets at 5.0 against Spectrum HOA's 2.1. AHOC Pets also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Spectrum HOA's advantage is ratings volume (327 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AHOC Pets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spectrum HOA has 327 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AHOC Pets ships an update every 10 months, Spectrum HOA every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
