# Exif Metadata vs EXIF Metadata +

The clearest difference is ads: EXIF Metadata + at none against Exif Metadata's shown. Exif Metadata's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 63) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exif Metadata sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and EXIF Metadata + sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exif Metadata holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exif Metadata has 6.1K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 42% and 42% positive.

Exif Metadata ships an update fortnightly, EXIF Metadata + monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
