# Exif Metadata vs Scriptesia

The clearest difference is ads: Scriptesia at none against Exif Metadata's shown. Exif Metadata's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exif Metadata sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Scriptesia sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $27.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exif Metadata ships an update fortnightly, Scriptesia every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
