# Tasker by Taskrabbit vs Neighbourhood App

The clearest difference is rating: Neighbourhood App at 3.7 against Tasker by Taskrabbit's 3.0. Neighbourhood App also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). Tasker by Taskrabbit's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Neighbourhood App holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasker by Taskrabbit has 4.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tasker by Taskrabbit ships an update fortnightly, Neighbourhood App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
