# Tasker by Taskrabbit vs GetCab

The clearest difference is rating: Tasker by Taskrabbit at 3.0 against GetCab's 1.0. Tasker by Taskrabbit also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 1) and chart position (#130 vs unranked). GetCab's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tasker by Taskrabbit holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tasker by Taskrabbit has 4.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tasker by Taskrabbit ships an update fortnightly, GetCab every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
