# X vs Zero

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Zero at 100% against X's 34%. Zero also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.1) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). X's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zero holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: X has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of X's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zero's.

X ships an update every 5 weeks, Zero every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
