# World Clock vs TimeDeck

The clearest difference is ads: TimeDeck at none against World Clock's shown. TimeDeck also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (67 vs 12). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. World Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TimeDeck sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeDeck holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeDeck has 67 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of World Clock's written reviews are positive against 57% of TimeDeck's.

World Clock ships an update every 3 weeks, TimeDeck monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
