# Ready vs SHI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ready at every 17 months against SHI's every 46 months. SHI's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ready ships an update every 17 months, SHI every 46 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
