# Loopz vs Drum Beats

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drum Beats at every 2 weeks against Loopz's every 3 months. Drum Beats also leads on ratings volume (548 vs 86). Loopz's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loopz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Drum Beats sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Loopz against 4.4 for Drum Beats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drum Beats has 548 ratings behind it against 86, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Loopz's written reviews are positive against 59% of Drum Beats's.

Loopz ships an update every 3 months, Drum Beats every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
