# FitPro vs XRunning

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: XRunning at none against FitPro's 6. XRunning also leads on rating (2.9 vs 2.6). FitPro's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 51). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitPro sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. XRunning asks for nothing beyond the download.

XRunning holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FitPro has 4.5K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of FitPro's written reviews are positive against 9% of XRunning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FitPro ships an update every 8 days, XRunning every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
