# CITIES vs IMOS

The clearest difference is update cadence: CITIES at fortnightly against IMOS's monthly. IMOS's advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CITIES ships an update fortnightly, IMOS monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
