# DroneSense vs TAK Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DroneSense at 100% against TAK Tracker's 67%. DroneSense also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (32 vs 7). TAK Tracker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TAK Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 32 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of DroneSense's written reviews are positive against 67% of TAK Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DroneSense ships an update monthly, TAK Tracker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
