# Moodee vs MOODA

The clearest difference is rating: MOODA at 4.6 against Moodee's 4.0. MOODA also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (578 vs 13). Moodee's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moodee sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MOODA sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MOODA holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOODA has 578 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Moodee's written reviews are positive against 63% of MOODA's.

Moodee ships an update every 8 months, MOODA every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
