# 剪影 vs Go Carcam

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Go Carcam at none against 剪影's 8. Go Carcam also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). 剪影's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 22%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 剪影 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Go Carcam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Go Carcam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 剪影 has 2.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of 剪影's written reviews are positive against 22% of Go Carcam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

剪影 ships an update every 5 days, Go Carcam every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
