# 剪影 vs YouCut

剪影 and YouCut both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of YouCut's written reviews are positive against 55% of 剪影's. YouCut also leads on ratings volume (24K vs 2.6K). 剪影's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 剪影 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and YouCut sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for 剪影 against 4.8 for YouCut. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouCut has 24K ratings behind it against 2.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of 剪影's written reviews are positive against 87% of YouCut's.

剪影 ships an update every 5 days, YouCut every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
