# 剪影 vs MagikLab

The clearest difference is ads: MagikLab at none against 剪影's shown. MagikLab also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). 剪影's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 95). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 剪影 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and MagikLab sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

剪影 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 剪影 has 2.6K ratings behind it against 95, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of 剪影's written reviews are positive against 61% of MagikLab's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

剪影 ships an update every 5 days, MagikLab fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
