# 剪影 vs Eraser Cat

The clearest difference is ads: Eraser Cat at none against 剪影's shown. Eraser Cat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). 剪影's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 剪影 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Eraser Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eraser Cat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 剪影 has 2.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of 剪影's written reviews are positive against 50% of Eraser Cat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

剪影 ships an update every 5 days, Eraser Cat every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
