# Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training vs Fast Math

The clearest difference is rating: Fast Math at 5.0 against Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training's 4.5. Fast Math also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 2) and review sentiment (84% vs 67%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fast Math sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fast Math holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training has 70 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training's written reviews are positive against 67% of Fast Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ginkgo Memory & Brain Training ships an update every 2 months, Fast Math every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
