# Interval Timer for Tasks vs FitDesk

The clearest difference is rating: FitDesk at 5.0 against Interval Timer for Tasks's 4.2. FitDesk also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Interval Timer for Tasks's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer for Tasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and FitDesk sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitDesk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Interval Timer for Tasks has 95 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Interval Timer for Tasks ships an update monthly, FitDesk every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
