# SPLITRON vs VALIX

The clearest difference is update cadence: VALIX at every 2 weeks against SPLITRON's every 3 months. SPLITRON's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SPLITRON ships an update every 3 months, VALIX every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
