# SMRC GO vs Griddr.

The clearest difference is rating: Griddr. at 5.0 against SMRC GO's 4.0. Griddr. also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). SMRC GO's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Griddr. sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. SMRC GO asks for nothing beyond the download.

Griddr. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Griddr. has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SMRC GO's written reviews are positive against 89% of Griddr.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMRC GO ships an update every 2 weeks, Griddr. fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
