# Vetcove vs FIGS®

The clearest difference is ads: Vetcove at none against FIGS®'s shown. Vetcove also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (89% vs 79%). FIGS®'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 23). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FIGS® holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FIGS® has 25K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Vetcove's written reviews are positive against 79% of FIGS®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vetcove ships an update every 3 months, FIGS® fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
