# Vetcove vs Cognative Cafe

The clearest difference is rating: Cognative Cafe at 5.0 against Vetcove's 4.7. Vetcove's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cognative Cafe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vetcove has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
