# Beach Volleyball vs Podium

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Beach Volleyball at none against Podium's 2. Beach Volleyball also leads on ratings volume (275 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Podium sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Beach Volleyball asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Beach Volleyball against 5.0 for Podium. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beach Volleyball has 275 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Beach Volleyball ships an update weekly, Podium fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
