# Beach Volleyball vs BracketIQ

The clearest difference is update cadence: BracketIQ at daily against Beach Volleyball's weekly. BracketIQ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). Beach Volleyball's advantage is ratings volume (272 vs 2) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BracketIQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beach Volleyball has 272 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Beach Volleyball ships an update weekly, BracketIQ daily. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
