# equ app vs Neuform

The clearest difference is rating: Neuform at 3.4 against equ app's 2.3. equ app's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. equ app sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $39.90 per 7 days and Neuform sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Neuform holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of equ app's written reviews are positive against 52% of Neuform's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

equ app ships an update every 2 days, Neuform weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
