# PRO TREK Connected vs Timegrapher

The clearest difference is rating: PRO TREK Connected at 4.6 against Timegrapher's 2.8. PRO TREK Connected also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timegrapher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PRO TREK Connected asks for nothing beyond the download.

PRO TREK Connected holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRO TREK Connected has 345 ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of PRO TREK Connected's written reviews are positive against 55% of Timegrapher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PRO TREK Connected ships an update every 2 months, Timegrapher every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
