# Car Simulator 2 vs Bus Simulator

Car Simulator 2 and Bus Simulator both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Car Simulator 2's written reviews are positive against 55% of Bus Simulator's. Bus Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (209K vs 24K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Simulator 2 sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Bus Simulator sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Car Simulator 2 against 4.5 for Bus Simulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bus Simulator has 209K ratings behind it against 24K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Car Simulator 2's written reviews are positive against 55% of Bus Simulator's.

Car Simulator 2 ships an update every 2 months, Bus Simulator every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
