# Hub vs Mind Map

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hub at none against Mind Map's 2. Hub also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Mind Map's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind Map sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months. Hub asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Hub against 4.9 for Mind Map. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mind Map has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hub ships an update every 3 months, Mind Map weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
