# Secured VPN Pro vs MaxiVPN

The clearest difference is rating: MaxiVPN at 4.0 against Secured VPN Pro's 3.5. MaxiVPN also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Secured VPN Pro's advantage is ratings volume (264 vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secured VPN Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and MaxiVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MaxiVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secured VPN Pro has 264 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Secured VPN Pro ships an update weekly, MaxiVPN monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
