# IndepNow vs ILPT

The clearest difference is rating: ILPT at 5.0 against IndepNow's 3.6. ILPT also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months). IndepNow's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ILPT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IndepNow has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IndepNow ships an update every 11 months, ILPT every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
