# SofaBaton vs CIRCUL+

The clearest difference is rating: CIRCUL+ at 3.3 against SofaBaton's 2.4. CIRCUL+ also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). SofaBaton's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (37% vs 24%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CIRCUL+ holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SofaBaton has 298 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of SofaBaton's written reviews are positive against 24% of CIRCUL+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SofaBaton ships an update every 2 weeks, CIRCUL+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
