# TCL Connect vs Air Conditioner Controller

The clearest difference is rating: Air Conditioner Controller at 4.5 against TCL Connect's 4.3. TCL Connect's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 3%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TCL Connect sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Air Conditioner Controller sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Air Conditioner Controller holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 541 and 572 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of TCL Connect's written reviews are positive against 3% of Air Conditioner Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
