# Smart vs Goals

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Smart at none against Goals's 3. Smart also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Goals's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goals sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Smart asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smart ships an update every 2 months, Goals every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
