# HAMR vs Routemize

The clearest difference is rating: Routemize at 5.0 against HAMR's 3.8. Routemize also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). HAMR's advantage is ratings volume (202 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Routemize holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HAMR has 202 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HAMR ships an update every 2 months, Routemize every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
