# Daylist vs Super Egg Scale

The clearest difference is rating: Daylist at 4.7 against Super Egg Scale's 3.7. Daylist also leads on ratings volume (88 vs 3). Super Egg Scale's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 69%). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daylist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Super Egg Scale asks for nothing beyond the download.

Daylist holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daylist has 88 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Daylist's written reviews are positive against 100% of Super Egg Scale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
