# Remootio vs RainPoint

The clearest difference is rating: RainPoint at 4.6 against Remootio's 3.5. RainPoint also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 60). Remootio's advantage is review sentiment (54% vs 29%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RainPoint holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RainPoint has 1.1K ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Remootio's written reviews are positive against 29% of RainPoint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Remootio ships an update every 6 weeks, RainPoint every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
