# PERPLEXIUM vs Tessera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tessera at none against PERPLEXIUM's 4. Tessera also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). PERPLEXIUM's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 4) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PERPLEXIUM sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Tessera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tessera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PERPLEXIUM has 24 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
