# Weverse vs MINI RECORD

The clearest difference is rating: Weverse at 4.7 against MINI RECORD's 2.9. Weverse also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (59K vs 33). MINI RECORD's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (65% vs 48%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weverse sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and MINI RECORD sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weverse holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weverse has 59K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Weverse's written reviews are positive against 65% of MINI RECORD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weverse ships an update every 8 days, MINI RECORD monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
