# Copy Better vs Clipboard

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Copy Better at none against Clipboard's 2. Clipboard's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 38). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clipboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Copy Better asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clipboard holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clipboard has 1.9K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two.
