# Wolf Simulator vs The Alpha

The clearest difference is rating: Wolf Simulator at 4.5 against The Alpha's 4.0. Wolf Simulator also leads on ratings volume (843 vs 49). The Alpha's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (76% vs 68%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wolf Simulator sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and The Alpha sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wolf Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wolf Simulator has 843 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Wolf Simulator's written reviews are positive against 76% of The Alpha's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wolf Simulator ships an update every 2 months, The Alpha fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
