# Livly vs SimpliList

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SimpliList at 100% against Livly's 28%. SimpliList also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Livly's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpliList sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Livly asks for nothing beyond the download.

SimpliList holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Livly has 2.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of Livly's written reviews are positive against 100% of SimpliList's.

Livly ships an update fortnightly, SimpliList every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
