# Barre Definition vs The Grounded Frog

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Grounded Frog at none against Barre Definition's 3. Barre Definition's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barre Definition sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. The Grounded Frog asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Barre Definition against 5.0 for The Grounded Frog. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Barre Definition has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Barre Definition ships an update monthly, The Grounded Frog every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
