# VPN vs VPN App ·

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VPN at 79K against VPN App ·'s 1.5K. VPN also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). VPN App ·'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (52% vs 37%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and VPN App · sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
