# BWT RC vs Cast for Chromecast

The clearest difference is rating: Cast for Chromecast at 4.1 against BWT RC's 3.0. Cast for Chromecast also leads on ratings volume (8.7K vs 2) and chart position (#185 vs unranked). BWT RC's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (33% vs 14%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cast for Chromecast sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. BWT RC asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cast for Chromecast holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cast for Chromecast has 8.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of BWT RC's written reviews are positive against 14% of Cast for Chromecast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
