# GHome vs Eysky

The clearest difference is rating: GHome at 4.8 against Eysky's 3.0. GHome also leads on ratings volume (80K vs 2) and chart position (#204 vs unranked). Eysky's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 35%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GHome holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GHome has 80K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of GHome's written reviews are positive against 67% of Eysky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GHome ships an update monthly, Eysky fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
